Edgar N. Gonzalez, 44, of North Riverside, Illinois, tragically and unexpectedly passed away on August 6, 2025, at a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Maywood, Illinois, Edgar grew up in Berwyn and North Riverside. He graduated from Riverside Brookfield High School and went on to attend Triton College in River Grove. Edgar worked for many years in customer service at Comcast / Xfinity and was most recently employed by T-Mobile as a retail associate manager.
Edgar loved cheering on the Chicago White Sox, spending time with his family, and being with his beloved fiancée, Sandra, who heartbreakingly passed in the same tragedy. He was a proud Mexican American and a man of Catholic faith.
He is survived by his father, Artemio R. Gonzalez; his sister, Michelle Gonzalez Lopez; and his cherished son, Julian Exavier Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florinda N. Gonzalez.
